Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Manager DC - Night Shift at our Twiggs DC facility in Jeffersonville, GA. You will oversee eCommerce order fulfillment operations, inventory controls, and DC services while leading a diverse night shift team.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related experience, including 3 years in management, plus strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience with at least 3 years in management.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System and RF managed inventory preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration across shifts, DCs and divisions.
• Effective communication, active listening, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations for assigned shift related to eCommerce order fulfillment, supplies inventory management, supplies order fulfillment, and DC Services requests.
• Manage a diverse workforce to include Supervisors and hourly team members.
• Enforce safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain quality/accuracy standards and order integrity.
• Sustain key operational metrics such as quality, accuracy, productivity, and level of service.
• Conduct regular observations and ensure process adherence.
• Foster cross-functional training and rotations.
• Communicate with internal and external customers such as DC Operations, Merchants and Store Ops.
• Learn company policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
