Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Manager Data Product to lead the roadmap and delivery of core enterprise data platform components. You will own ingestion, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and platform reliability, partnering with engineering, governance, and security teams.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in product ownership or technical product management, with strong knowledge of data architectures and cloud-native services. This role requires on-site work at our Coppell, TX office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business administration degree preferred.
  • 6-8 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, data engineering practices, and cloud-native services.
  • Experience building or supporting ingestion frameworks pipelines, or data quality systems.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, architecture, and business team.

  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Work Environment And Physical Requirements
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
