Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR seeks a Market Analytics professional to leverage syndicated data for market assessments and category recommendations on assortment pricing and merchandising. You will publish weekly reports and serve as a category expert in buyer discussions.

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience using Walmart Retail Link, IRI, POS, and panel data, plus experience with Walmart Sam's Club in the CPG sector.

• Category or Customer Management experience with Walmart Sam's in the CPG industry.
• High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office software.
• Preferred skills in Madrid, Retail Link, and APEX.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish weekly reports for internal and external use.
• Utilize syndicated data insights for interface with buyers to be recognized as a category expert for the sales team.
• Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and track performance and projections for the year.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and customer marketing to track performance and communicate changes to the annual plan.
• Conduct deep analytics on new item launches and provide key insights to BU and sales teams.
• Develop and publish seasonal business trackers.
• Recommend trade efficiency opportunities and pricing initiatives based on analytics.
• Develop and maintain Sam's Club JBP planning files for monthly and quarterly updates.

Job Details:

Summary:

This position is responsible for leveraging syndicated data to conduct market assessments and develop category recommendations with regard to assortment pricing and merchandising.

Other duties include:

• Develop and publish weekly reports for both internally and externally use
• Utilize syndicated data insights in preparation for frequent interface with the buyers to be recognized as a category expert for the sales team
• Develop weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and track performance and latest projections for the year
• Collaborate with sales team business units supply chain and customer marketing to track performance and communicate changes to the annual plan
• Conduct deep analytics on new item launches and partner with the BU and sales team on key insights
• Develop and publish seasonal business trackers.
• Based on trade analytics and market assessment this position will recommend trade efficiency opportunities and pricing initiatives to Customer Development Managers
• Develop and maintain Sam's Club JBP planning files to be used in monthly and quarterly updates

This position works very closely in a matrix organization with many different functions of the organization including Supply Chain, Customer Solutions, Demand Planning, Brand Business Units, and the Customer.

Requirements:

Education:
