  • Serve as a subject matter expert over the ACL and related metrics

  • Communicate ACL results to stakeholders on a quarterly basis

  • Set the reporting team agenda and lead projects, driving and influencing decisions on strategic imperatives or special topics

  • Manage your area of the team to elevate associate performance, create a positive environment and build and maintain a high performing team

  • Build and leverage relationships with business partners, including risk management and finance, to understand their processes and results

  • Create dynamic ACL analytics and present analysis clearly and concisely for executive leadership

  • Review quarterly journal entries and monthly account reconciliations

  • Leverage new and existing technologies to enhance reporting and analytics

  • Support ACL compliance activities for management, internal audit and external audit groups by providing documentation and addressing queries

General responsibilities:

  • Create connections across the team and organization to drive collaboration

  • Leverage sound business judgment to evaluate analytical results and formulate recommendations

  • Share expertise and insights with business partners

  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize projects and support large scale Controllers initiatives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, external financial reporting, audit, or finance, or a combination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a combination
