Responsibilities

• Hire, inspire, and grow high‑performing Machine Learning Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Lead strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business, including product, engineering, consumer insights, content, and strategy.
• Instill an inclusive culture that is innovative and collaborative within the team and the broader organization.
• Develop a team charter and roadmap that optimizes impact and reflects evolving business needs.
• Act as an ambassador between Product, Engineering, Strategy, and DSE teams by deeply understanding how the Netflix Ads product works.
• Ensure that the team produces consistently trustworthy, high‑quality technical outputs that influence and impact the business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated tenacity, resilience, and leadership experience driving cross‑functional projects, overcoming challenges, and proposing solutions.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills.
• Rapid assessment of complex systems with high EQ to act as a product ambassador.
• A player‑coach capable of developing roadmaps and strategy while executing technical work and ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Superb communication skills: cultivating relationships, effective communication, meticulous writing, and outstanding presentations to technical and creative audiences.
• Experience working with multimodal LLMs and VLMs.
• Experience building and leading hybrid Analytics, Data, and ML teams in the Ads space.
• Capacity and passion to translate business objectives into actionable analyses and use analytics to guide product and business with quantitative recommendations.
• Passion for TV and movies and defining the future of entertainment.

Compensation

Annual salary only. Compensation range: $523,000.00 – $920,000.00. Employees choose the balance of salary versus stock options each year.
