Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time B2B and B2C sales experience.
  • Sports sponsorship sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and service corporate sponsorship packages including tickets and group events.
  • Conduct market research to identify new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs with a needs-based approach; perform qualification questions.
  • Attend events to build a strong sales pipeline and network.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Assist in activation and execution of sponsorship deliverables pre-game to post-game.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to support sales process.

This position will collaborate with the sales leadership staff in the planning and execution of all sponsorship initiatives.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Sell and service corporate partnership packages, while including tickets and group events in the selling processConduct frequent market research to identify new leads and sales opportunitiesAnalyze each client’s needs by asking a series of qualifying questions and performing a needs analysisAttend networking & community events to help establish a strong sales pipelineMaintain productivity level set by sales team by tracking calls, meetings, etc. in appropriate CRMMeet or exceed individual and team sales goalsUtilize programs such as DigiDeck and ZoomInfo for prospecting, proposals, and other key sales process stepsParticipate in weekly corporate sales meetings (sales updates, training, brainstorming, etc.)Ability to create great professional relationships with clientsAssist in the activation and execution of all sponsorship deliverables pre-game, in-game and post-gameWork directly with vendors who help the sales process such as signage companies and contractorsAssist in the strategic planning and implementation of all sponsorship initiativesManage staff and interns as assignedOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of full-time B2B and B2C sales experience.Sports sponsorship sales experience preferred.Experience and knowledge of CRM platforms and ticketing systems (i.e. TicketMaster, KORE, etc.).Experience and knowledge of DigiDeck and ZoomInfo a plus.Proven ability to generate revenue in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.Ability to provide exceptional customer service to varying levels of clients.Strong understanding of strategic analysis as it pertains to the sales process.Ability to think “outside of the box” when customizing a sales proposal.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Outstanding work ethic, confidence, and creativity.Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships with all staff.Competitive with an eagerness to exceed personal and team sales goals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
