Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami, FL is seeking a talented Manager of Corporate Development to lead merger and acquisition initiatives, joint ventures, and strategic investments. This on-site role partners with senior leaders to shape deal priorities and drive value across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate development or investment banking, excels at financial modeling and due diligence, and can manage cross-functional teams to execute complex transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Background in corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity; travel industry experience a strong plus.
  • Experience managing and developing high performing teams and hiring top talent.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to drive complex business issues to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial modeling, P&L forecasting, understanding of all three financial statements, and valuation analysis experience.
  • Experience with legal contracts, data rooms, and managing due diligence workstreams.
  • Strong attention to detail, project management skills and ability to manage and drive forward multiple projects.
  • Excellent writing and presentation creation skills; able to deliver presentations in senior management meetings.
  • Ability to develop rapport and credibility with diverse groups to facilitate buy-in and solution development.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assess industry trends, the competitive landscape, and strategic priorities to proactively identify and cultivate acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Support pipeline development, strategic deep dives, and active transactions, including underwriting, due diligence, and project management.
  • Develop thoughtful perspectives on industry segments, market trends, and potential targets or strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct and maintain ownership of analysis and vetting of potential M&A targets for strategic fit and financial impact.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts with target executive teams, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts.
  • Lead reporting on due diligence findings and provide summaries to senior executives.
  • Provide business drivers and inputs, refine, and oversee financial and valuation analysis.
  • Develop investment memoranda and presentations for CEO and Board consideration.
  • Support deal structuring and negotiation efforts; lead integration planning.
  • Motivate and mentor direct reports; manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manager of Corporate Development reporting to the Director of Corporate Development.

This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

As a key member of Royal Caribbean Group’s Corporate Development team, theManager, CorporateDevelopmentwill help define, shape, and execute the company’s agenda for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and other major strategic initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Development and partners cross-functionally across the company and brands toidentifyand evaluate organic growth opportunities, assess potential transactions, and develop analytically grounded, actionable insights that inform decision-making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter andstrong teamleader with excellent quantitative, strategic, and communication skills. They bringthe maturityand confidence to engage effectively with senior executives, along with a humble, self-aware style that builds alignment and helpsdrivecross-functional teamstosound decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and engage direct reports, including providing day-to-day direction,mentorshipand coaching.
  • Perform other duties as required to support Transformation Hub objectives.
