Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 to oversee classified IT teams in Redondo Beach, CA. This on-site role requires leadership of system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers across information systems and networks.

The candidate will mentor leaders, interact with executives and customers, and drive training, RMF compliance, and secure solutions in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Redondo Beach, CA location.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead Classified Solutions staff of system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers performing direct administration of Information Systems and associated classified networks.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for managers and new leaders.
• Interact with internal key executives, CIDO Program Management Office and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Identify skills needed and provide training to meet requirements.
• Work across disciplines to isolate issues between networks and applications.
• Align support activities with business goals, managing performance metrics and adapting resources as needs change.
• Implement tools and processes to make work visible and enable effective assignment and prioritization.
• Produce clear written reports and deliver oral briefings for all internal stakeholders and external partners, keeping everyone informed of status, risks, and outcomes.
• Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
• Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
• Support customer programs and perform functional management duties based on business needs and performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree with 5 years of technical experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of technical experience; OR an Associates degree with 9 years of technical experience; OR a PhD with 2 years of technical experience is required
• Must have experience managing, supervising, or leading an IT team
• Experience with Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions
• Experience with documentation and configuration management as they pertain to compliance and security controls
• Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 - IAT level II certification at a minimum (examples: Security+ CE , CND, CCNA-Security)
• Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance (at a minimum) to be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Information Technology, a Security+ CE, and 7 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure (i.e., virtualization, networking, data center architecture, or systems administration), and will have managed a team of IT professionals for 2+ years in both classified and unclassified environments
• Experience with RMF, or other cybersecurity related compliance frameworks, is helpful
• Active CI-Polygraph is highly preferred
