Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 for the Classified Solutions CIDO Team in Colorado. The role requires Top Secret clearance and leadership over system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers. Travel up to 25% and no telework.

Job Title: Manager Computer Systems Analysis 2 (Classified Solutions CIDO Team).

Relocation Assistance: No relocation assistance available.

Clearance required: Yes; Clearance type: Top Secret.

Travel: Yes, up to 25% of the time.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (may consider Boulder campus).

Note: No virtual or telecommute options.

Responsibilities

• Lead Classified Solutions staff of system admins, desktop techs, and network engineers performing direct administration of Information Systems and associated classified networks.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for managers and new leaders.
• Interact with internal key executives, CIDO Program Management Office, and customers on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Identify skills needed and provide training to meet requirements.
• Work across disciplines to isolate issues between networks and applications.
• Align support activities with business goals, managing performance metrics and adapting resources as needs change.
• Implement tools and processes to make work visible and enable effective assignment and prioritization.
• Produce clear written reports and deliver oral briefings for all internal stakeholders and external partners, keeping everyone informed of status, risks, and outcomes.
• Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
• Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
• Support customer programs and perform functional management duties based on business needs and performance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant technical experience; OR a Master's degree with 5 years of relevant technical experience; OR a PhD with 2 years of relevant technical experience is required.
• Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Systems Administrator – IAT level II certification at a minimum (examples: Security+ CE, CND, CCNA Security, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CCISO).
• Experience with Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions.
• Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, a Security+ CE and 6 years of technical experience with 2 years of functional management background within classified environments.
• Active SCI CISM or CISSP certification.
• Experience and familiarity with IT infrastructure (i.e., virtualization, networking, datacenter architecture or systems administration).
• Experience managing IT teams.
• Experience implementing RMF or other cybersecurity related compliance frameworks.

Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,200.00 - $219,800.00.
