TrueML is seeking a Manager, Compliance & Risk to serve as the operational backbone of our Legal, Audit & Compliance department. Reporting to the Director of Compliance & Risk, you will lead day-to-day operations across CMS, risk assessments, and DDQs while ensuring our AI-driven SaaS platforms meet regulatory standards.
The role requires 5+ years in fintech compliance and 3+ years people leadership, plus expertise in FDCPA, TCPA, Reg F and BSA/AML.

As the Manager, Compliance & Risk, you will serve as the operational backbone of our Legal, Audit & Compliance department. Reporting to the Director of Compliance & Risk, your critical goal is to lead day-to-day operations across continuous compliance monitoring, audit execution, client due diligence (DDQs), and emerging payments/KYB workflows while ensuring our AI-driven SaaS platforms meet the highest regulatory standards.
What You'll Do:Fintech & Compliance Leader: You bring 5+ years of progressive compliance, risk, or audit experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services, along with 3+ years of direct people management.
Regulatory Expert: You have a deep operational understanding of consumer financial protection regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA, Reg F, BSA/AML) and payment/banking standards (Nacha, PCI-DSS).
Tech & GRC Proficient: You bring hands-on experience administering GRC tools, advanced Jira/Confluence workflow management, DDQ/RFP platforms, and analytics tools (Looker, Google Sheets/Excel).
Educated & Credentialed: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (industry certifications like CRCM, CAMS, CISA, or CRISC are a plus).
$100,000 - $140,000 a year
For U.S.-based hires, the overall base salary framework for this role currently spans $100,000 to $140,000 per year. The applicable base salary range for any individual hire depends on the geographic labor market associated with the employee’s primary work location along with other factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

This role supports a global, cross-functional business and operates primarily in a Remote-First environment. However, flexibility outside of standard business hours and occasional local or international travel may be necessary for global operations support, company meetings, training, offsites, and collaborative projects.
