Compliance Manager/Sr. Manager

The Per Scholas Compliance Team seeks a detailed-oriented team member to work collaboratively with the Senior Director to own the full lifecycle of organizational compliance projects. The Compliance Manager ensures our 24+ campuses obtain and maintain license, or exemption from licensure, as required by the state, directly supporting our annual organizational growth. Additionally, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for obtaining and renewing our Veteran Administration (VA) and Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) status in each region as needed. Under the direction of the Senior Director, this role will manage projects and team initiatives, including supporting internal recordkeeping and auditing processes, assisting with audits, executing assigned research, helping create and update cross-functional resources, and maintaining internal team policies and tracking workflows. This is a non-legal, operational compliance role focused entirely on regulatory execution, project management, and agency navigation.
If you are fulfilled by dotting Is, crossing Ts, and independently managing high-stakes regulatory workflows from inception to completion, this role is for you! We need a Manager who enjoys digging deep into the details by researching requirements of a variety of forms, processes, and documents. You will manage the entire lifecycle of compliance projects to ensure they are completed ahead of the corresponding deadlines for each of our 20+ unique campuses to keep us compliant across multiple states.
Depending on experience and background, we will consider candidates at either the Manager or Senior Manager level.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $83,000 – $93,000. Final salary offers are determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's geographic location, specialized experience, and alignment with the role's senior-level requirements.

Full-TimePer Scholas team members enjoy over 40 days of paid time off each year through a mix of holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time! All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements.
Benefit eligible employees can choose from multiple medical plans through Cigna or Kaiser Permanente (where available), with options to fit your needs. Eligible employees also have access to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) that reimburses eligible out-of-pocket expenses, up to $4,000 for individuals and $8,000 for families.
Eligible employees can select from two dental plan options and a vision plan. Employees who waive medical coverage receive employer paid dental and vision premiums.
