Job summary

Tapestry, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Communications for Coach to own the employee communications strategy across the Coach brand.

You will partner with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to translate business and brand strategy into engaging narratives across written, visual, social, audio and live formats. You’ll shape town halls, speeches and videos, collaborating with External Communications and Coach PR to connect internal and external storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in employee, brand, executive, corporate communications.
  • Experience developing communications strategies and high-visibility work.
  • Experience working with senior executives and translating ideas into compelling communications.
  • Fluency with social and digital platforms; curious about AI and new tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

As a key member of the Tapestry Global Communications team, the Manager, Communications for Coach is a high-access, hands‑on employee communications role for a strategic storyteller who combines strong judgment with creative ambition. Working at the intersection of Coach and Tapestry, you’ll partner with senior leadership and teams across creative, external communications, social impact, regional and functional areas to uncover meaningful stories, turn business and brand strategy into compelling narratives, and create communications across written, visual, social, audio and live formats that inform, inspire and connect Coach employees around the world.   • Own the Coach employee communications strategy and editorial roadmap
  • Develop and drive an integrated communications approach that brings Coach’s strategy, creative vision, and culture to life for employees around the world.
  • Build relationships across the brand to uncover compelling stories and turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Elevate leadership communications
  • Serve as a trusted communications partner to senior leaders. Create engaging communications across speeches, presentations, video, emails, social, podcasts and other formats, capturing leaders’ voices while bringing fresh ideas for how and where they show up.
  • Find and tell stories that make Coach distinctive Build relationships across the brand – from the Creative Studio and stores to PR, the Coach Foundation, regions and functions – to uncover the people, ideas and moments worth sharing.
  • Partner with External Communications and Coach PR to connect internal and external storytelling.
  • Create and produce across formats: Take ideas from concept through execution across written, visual, social, audio, video and live experiences, including storytelling that brings the Coach employee experience to life through Coach LinkedIn and other talent‑brand channels.
  • Bring a strong editorial point of view and an instinct for what will make employees stop, pay attention and engage.
  • Lead through a global matrix Partner with Coach and Tapestry stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure communications are globally consistent and locally relevant, while keeping work moving across a complex organization.
  • Learn, experiment and raise the bar Use audience insights, engagement data and communications metrics to understand what is working and what could work better. Test new approaches, formats and channels and apply learnings quickly.
  • Stay close to culture, fashion, media, technology and the changing ways people consume information.

An outstanding professional will have… 5+ years of experience in employee, brand, executive, corporate communications, ideally within a global, matrixed or public‑company environment. Demonstrated experience developing communications strategies and taking high‑visibility work from idea through execution. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across audiences, voices and formats; portfolio or work samples preferred. Experience working directly with senior executives and translating their ideas into compelling communications. Experience creating multi‑channel content, which may include presentations, social content, video, audio, digital communications and live experiences. Fluency with social and digital platforms and curiosity about AI and emerging communications tools. Ability to use data and insights to evaluate effectiveness and improve communications. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. A genuine passion for communications, creativity, storytelling and Coach.
