Qualifications

• MS, PhD, or PharmD in a related field.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical clinical drug development experience (other levels considered based on experience).
• Working knowledge of the drug development process, GCP, study design, and clinical research methodology.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence within and across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Preferred: experience in cardiovascular, renal, or metabolic disease.
• Preferred: medical writing skills and a track record of clinical trial process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of early- and late-phase clinical studies
• Partner with Medical Directors to deliver scientific expertise for study and program design
• Contribute to program team meetings, advisory boards, steering committees, and safety monitoring meetings
• Develop a deep understanding of the disease area, drug mechanism, and competitive landscape
• Author and review key study documents, including protocol sections, monitoring plans, SAPs, informed consents, and Clinical Study Report components
• Review clinical and safety data to protect patient safety and ensure data integrity
• Identify study risks and propose practical mitigations
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to uphold study quality and compliance with FDA, EMA, ICH, and GCP standards
