OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Manager of Clinical Engineering to oversee the service for Central Ohio entities, ensuring safe, reliable medical equipment and cost-effective operations.
You will guide capital projects, negotiate with OEMs, develop performance metrics, and lead a team dedicated to equipment maintenance, training, and regulatory compliance.
This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5 years as a technician, and knowledge of JCAHO/TJC, EPA, NFPA, OSHA standards.

The Manager of Clinical Engineering is responsible for overseeing and directing the operations of the Clinical Engineering Service for all Central Ohio entities of OhioHealth. In addition, he/she acts as a consultant to other OhioHealth Hospitals. The Manager ensures efficient, cost-effective management of the organization's clinical equipment.

Knowledge of the use and application of various types of clinical equipment from highly sophisticated computerized digital equipment to patient monitors. Must be knowledgeable in TJC, EPA, NFPA, OSHA, ODH, and other regulatory and governing agency requirements related to equipment maintenance.
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. AAMI Certification.
