Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP in Charlotte, NC is seeking a senior finance transformation professional to lead and support initiatives across P2P, O2C and R2R processes. You will turn complex data into actionable dashboards using Power BI and guide project delivery from planning to client communications and outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting or finance transformation, experience across multiple industries, and a consulting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, finance process improvement, or finance advisory services.
• Knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
• Experience within or serving organizations across Manufacturing, Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, or related industries.
• Experience within a consulting or professional services environment.

• Provide an independent perspective on finance and accounting organizations, leveraging industry trends, market insights, and leading practices to address client challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth assessments of business processes to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights through interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reporting solutions utilizing Power BI.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, staffing, execution, client communications, and the successful delivery of project objectives.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and independent thinking in engagement management, including problem-solving, solution development, risk identification, and quality assurance.
• Contribute to business development and go-to-market initiatives by supporting proposal efforts, identifying opportunities within existing client relationships, and delivering exceptional client service.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members by providing coaching, constructive feedback, and career development support while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

• Experience within or serving organizations across a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, or related industries.
• Experience within a consulting or professional services environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA Certification
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar financial systems.
• Experience with R2R platforms such as Blackline and Trintech

The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave.
