Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Cell and Gene Sourcing to lead the business relationship with cell and gene therapy suppliers. You will negotiate contracts, establish strong sourcing relationships, and manage customer-related programs across the organization.

Job Details

We have an exciting role as a Manager, Cell and Gene Sourcing, this role will be responsible for managing the business relationship between Cencora and our cell and gene therapy suppliers.

In this role you will work directly with outside pharmaceutical suppliers as it relates to policies, issues and profitability; .be responsible for negotiating contracts, establishing sourcing relationships and managing customer-related programs for cell & gene therapy; you will be working towards resolving work issues relative to the trading relationship. You will also be collaborating with internal departments such as the Sales teams, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Credit, Customer Service and other Procurement entities in order to promote the best interests of Cencora and to evaluate process improvements related to cell & gene therapy needs.

You will take responsibility for managing trade affairs with key strategic suppliers to include negotiating business agreements and settling disputes and/or issues.

You will be representing Cencora favorably with suppliers and acting as an advocate for Cencora interests relative to suppliers' actions and policies.

You will also support business development and educational activities for the assigned suppliers. You will also be managing several contracting programs resulting in increased value for both Cencora and its customers.

• Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 4+ of experience in account management, sales, project management, category management, or a related field required.
• Outstanding knowledge of product and supplier base, product relationships and industry trends
• Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across the organization and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment

Salary Range

$94,500 - 148,060

• This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
