Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex processes or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and supporting decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, data visualization, automation, or AI tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills; ability to synthesize data into insights.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of the Investment Board process, including agendas and executive materials.
  • Own consolidated analysis for the enterprise capital portfolio and track deployment and returns.
  • Develop portfolio reviews and recommendations for capital allocation and prioritization.
  • Perform ROCE, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to guide investment decisions.
  • Assess capital requests by reviewing financial assumptions and business cases; challenge where needed.
  • Partner with Finance to redeploy unutilized capital to higher-priority initiatives.
  • Translate complex information into concise executive presentations and recommendations.
  • Drive improvements in capital planning, reporting, and decision-support with automation and AI tools.
  • Build relationships across a global, cross-functional stakeholder network.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

  • Lead the preparation and coordination of the Investment Board process, including agendas, executive materials, decision framing, meeting follow-ups, and tracking of conditions and commitments.
  • Own consolidated analysis for the enterprise capital portfolio, providing clear visibility into deployment, financial returns, execution readiness, risks, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop portfolio reviews and recommendations that support capital allocation, prioritization, and reallocation decisions across business functions and investment categories.
  • Perform ROCE, return, value creation, scenario, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate portfolio performance and strengthen investment decisions.
  • Assess capital requests and business cases by reviewing financial assumptions, strategic alignment, implementation plans, and expected benefits; identify issues requiring further challenge or clarification.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to identify opportunities to redeploy uncommitted or underutilized capital toward higher-priority initiatives.
  • Translate complex financial and operational information into concise executive presentations, decision papers, and practical recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in capital planning, investment review, portfolio reporting, and decision-support processes through standardization, automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Build effective relationships across a global, cross-functional stakeholder network and provide guidance on capital portfolio requirements, analyses, and decision processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A recognized professional designation or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, capital planning, investment analysis, strategic planning, consulting, portfolio management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a complex process, program, or cross-functional initiative.
  • Prior people-management experience is not required.
  • Experience developing executive-level analyses and presentations and supporting senior leadership decision-making.
  • Experience evaluating business cases, investment proposals, capital programs, or portfolio performance is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and quantitative capabilities, with the ability to connect detailed analysis to strategic and operational implications.
  • Sound business judgment and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively, identify trade-offs, and recommend a clear path forward.
  • Ability to synthesize complex and sometimes incomplete information into concise, decision-ready insights for senior leaders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI, data visualization, automation, or AI-enabled tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority across functions and levels.
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with diverse teams in an international organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, is required because the role involves regular communication and collaboration with global teams.
