Job summary

Peregrine Technologies in Washington, DC is seeking a Manager, BI + Analytics Engineer to shape data modeling, access, and usage across the company. You will own the analytics stack architecture and work with Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in a fast-growing tech environment.
• Strong command of SQL and data modeling best practices.
• Proficiency in dbt, modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, Sigma, or similar.
• Strong product and business sense — you know how to balance technical purity with speed, scalability, and impact.
• Comfort working autonomously and owning projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Located in Washington, D.C. and willing to work in office four days a week.

• Create dashboards and analysis that uncover trends in revenue, product usage, and customer behavior.
• Set up data quality checks and alerts to ensure accurate, timely, and trustworthy data.
• Support planning and forecasting by partnering with teams to define KPIs and build forward-looking models.

The Role

As Peregrine’s Manager, BI + Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping how data is modeled, accessed, and used across the company. You will own the architecture and execution of our internal analytics stack, partnering closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to turn raw data into insight and insight into action.
