Job Overview: Leads the development and implementation of manual and automated production systems. Takes ownership of their area of responsibility by insuring volume and costs goals, high quality standards are met, while providing a safe working environment for all employees. Assists with implementation of new production technologies. Responsible for analyzing and strategic planning of technical and process developments.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
2-3 Group leaders as direct reports 150 - 250 indirect reports; Leads employees in line with organizational culture, values and guidelines; defines performance goals, conducts performance reviews; effectively communicates and engages employees to meet objectives; Responsible for employee development and qualification.
Financial Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the budget for the associated area; Manages budget and personnel allocation efficiently. Conveys budget distribution and cost saving processes to colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in planning, development, and implementation of production processes and technologies. Experience in a leadership role preferred; Internal candidates require completed PV-44.
Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge in Assembly shop systems.
Excellent knowledge in LEAN manufacturing and how to apply it in a modern work environment.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in an intercultural, fast paced, changing, and growing environment.
