Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a data engineering professional to deliver data-products that enable data-informed decision-making. You will build a centralized data-layer and data marts, harmonize data across sites and platforms, and design scalable architectures with proper orchestration strategies.

You will operate in a governed metadata framework, using dbt to produce documented, tested, DRY code and ensure on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher required.
• Preferred: Computer Science, Physics, Math, Data Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or Engineering.

Required/Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with SQL.
• Experience scripting (Python/R).
• Knowledge of DAG-based and asset-based pipeline design.
• Version control (Git/SVN) and Agile development.
• Analytical/problem-solving ability; experience with agile/scrum desired.
• Ability to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Excellent communication/presentation; explain complex outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• dbt hands-on experience a plus.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft suites; Databricks/DBT.

• Devens, MA: $106,220–$128,709; New Brunswick, NJ: $96,560–$117,008.
