Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an AI strategy leader to shape the AI team's core strategy, support fundraising, proposals, and donor engagement. You will own expansion areas, assess feasibility, and help recruit initial team members while coordinating across CHAI's 30+ country offices.

The role blends strategic analysis with hands-on execution to build scalable workflows. Travel extensively to CHAI offices and represent the team at conferences; strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for AI and its impact on health systems in LMICs.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced user of modern AI productivity tools (Claude Cowork, Claude Code, Codex).
• Genuine passion for tinkering and building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex topics clearly.

• Demonstrated capacity to learn quickly.
• Willingness to travel extensively to CHAI offices and represent the team at conferences.
• Preference for colocation in Boston; operate from CHAI office 1–2 days per week when not traveling.

Responsibilities
