Job summary

Ripple Labs Inc. in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Manager, AI Platform Engineering to lead the AI platform development for GSmart, powering smart features across enterprise treasury products. You will drive greenfield projects and translate customer challenges into scalable technical solutions.

You will own the platform roadmap end-to-end, mentor a growing team, and collaborate with product teams to deliver measurable, dependable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack scope.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Strong full-stack skills from frontend to backend and APIs.
• Experience operating AI systems in production and ML platforms.
• Deep knowledge of modern LLM/GenAI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Join Ripple Labs Inc. as the Manager, AI Platform Engineering in Chicago, IL, and spearhead our bold venture in AI platform development! This remarkable opportunity enables you to craft the future of our AI platform, GSmart, powering smart features across our enterprise treasury products. You will be involved in greenfield projects, bringing insight and focus to undefined problems. You will also work hand-in-hand with product and solution teams to convert customer challenges into fluid technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including full-stack development and AI/ML platform infrastructure
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Strong full-stack development skills — front-end through back-end and APIs — with solid cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience operating AI systems in production
• Deep, current command of AI and modern LLM/GenAI infrastructure
