The Manager works collaboratively within a team of highly qualified Advisory consultants to deliver revenue cycle performance improvement to healthcare systems. This role is dedicated to the Revenue Cycle service line, combining deep operational expertise across the patient financial journey (patient access, coding, billing, collections, denials management, and cash operations) with hands‑on experience optimizing and implementing the EMR and technology platforms that power revenue cycle performance. This position is primarily responsible for performing billable work for clients and actively leading and managing a significant workstream or project.
The Manager oversees all aspects of the workstream or project assigned, including day-to-day management of activities and staff. They provide input, guidance, and quality assurance on team deliverables and presentations throughout each phase of a project, mentor staff working with them, and are responsible for building strong, referenceable client relationships.
The Manager also participates in internal Premier activities, including practice development and required/approved educational opportunities, and stays current on revenue cycle technologies and EMR platforms Premier offers to its clients.
Managers on the Revenue Cycle team bring operational expertise across the end-to-end revenue cycle, including patient access and registration, insurance verification and prior authorization, charge capture and coding, billing and claims submission, denials management and appeals, and cash posting and collections. Familiarity with EMR and revenue cycle technology is a valuable capability for this role. Additional expectations include:

Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $113,000 - $188,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
