**Responsibilities**

Responsible for determining risk and making pricing decisions.

+ Develop pricing models using mathematical modeling techniques and statistical concepts to determine probability and assess risks.

+ Develop forecasts of expense and funding.

+ Evaluate the effectiveness of financial management programs that seek to control and minimize risk.

+ Present reports, explaining implications to stakeholders, and advising on risk limitation.

+ Communicate annual funding, expense, and other actuarial/financial information.

+ Implement department initiatives and ensure goals are met.

+ Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Associate Certification credentialed from the Society of Actuaries obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) is preferred.

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Experience:

+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
