Job summary

McLaren Health is seeking a regulatory and accreditation leader responsible for the facility's survey readiness, coordinating activities with on- and off-campus sites, and developing ongoing education and monitoring across departments to support regulatory compliance.

The role serves on quality committees, leads performance improvement activities within accreditation and regulatory arenas, and assists administration in managing system accreditation and survey activities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in nursing, business or related field.
• One year of healthcare regulatory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, business or related field (preferred).
• 1 year of management experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and oversight for regulatory and accreditation compliance including all local, state, and federal agencies.
• Develops systems to ensure continual organizational readiness.
• Functions as a resource and educator to support management, medical and hospital staff on accreditation and other applicable regulatory requirements to the assigned facility.
• Oversees data input for citation clearance and collaborates with reimbursement teams to ensure cost reports/filings are consistent.
• Participates and/or coordinates in unannounced regulatory agency surveys including mock surveys.
• Routinely monitors corrective measures to ensure ongoing compliance.

Position Summary:

Responsible foroverall accountability for the assigned facility’s accreditation and regulatoryrequirements including active involvement with all survey activity. Leads facility and associated on andoff-campus site activities to achieve a constant state of surveyreadiness. Develops ongoing educationand monitoring of all departments in support of regulatory compliance. Attends appropriate meetings for disseminationof information and consultative input. Serves as assigned on quality committeesand participates, chairs and oversees performance improvement activities withinthe accreditation and regulatory arenas. Assists the department administrationin managing system accreditation and survey activities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Participatesand/or coordinates in unannounced regulatory agency surveys including mocksurveys. Designs, implements and takesleadership as directed of the command center during any survey activity.
• Routinely monitors corrective measuresto ensure ongoing compliance.
