American Airlines Credit Union in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead building operations, maintenance and security for the Credit Union headquarters. You will oversee vendor relationships, budget management and contract oversight to ensure reliable and compliant facilities services.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in facilities management, strong leadership, and proven ability to drive cost savings while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor relationships between internal Credit Union resources and external partners.
• Develop and manage the department budget and spending.
• Review contracts to ensure SLAs are met.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including BSA.
• Coordinate with Building Operations Manager and IMT on facility disruptions.
• Maintain daily safety and upkeep of the headquarters.
• Maintain equipment inventory and schedule maintenance.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Be on-call 24/7 as needed.

This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for leading the Facilities team that manages building operations, maintenance and security for the Credit Union.

What you'll do

• Oversee strategic relationships with multiple vendors between internal Credit Union resources and external entities
• Exercise effective cost control by developing and managing department budget and spending
• Review acquisition and maintenance contracts to ensure service level agreements are met
• Analyze, develop and manage solutions which adhere to applicable business and regulatory requirements
• Manage competing priorities successfully and direct resources and organizational communications as appropriate
• Create efficiencies through process improvements and implementing effective risk mitigation
• Manage and partner with the Building Operations Manager
• Act as a member of the Instant Management Team (IMT) and participate in strategic and operational processes as related to critical disruptions to the facility or business operations
• Ensure the daily maintenance and safety of all employees and visitors to the Credit Union's headquarters facility
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all of the equipment and systems for the Credit Union's headquarters building, including the last time maintenance was conducted on it, when replacement should be scheduled for, etc.
• Foster a positive work environment
• Perform other duties, as assigned
• The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline relevant to the role, or five or more years of proven experience in facilities management or related field

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience

• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
• Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement, user satisfaction, and adherence to standards
• Ability to demonstrate a strong business acumen and decision making capabilities
• Ability to demonstrate excellent oran and written communications skills
