Job Summary: Managers in Software Engineering are responsible for overseeing application development deliverables, including unit design, coding, and testing. They work closely with technical leads and project managers to define and clarify requirements, create solution approaches based on business needs, and provide recommendations on scope and effort. The role involves agile application development utilizing open-source tools for continuous integration and delivery, and interfacing with cross-functional teams such as analysts, developers, QA engineers, product owners, and operations personnel. Managers ensure development work adheres to Visa's methodologies and security requirements, and are responsible for creating documentation and maintaining relationships with global development teams.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $153,700.00 to $ 246,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
