Job summary

Vandelay Hospitality Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and inspire a high-energy team across its hospitality concepts. You will shape guest experiences, drive quality, and uphold safety standards while coaching staff and ensuring consistency in service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in full-service restaurant management, a passion for guest service, and flexibility to work 55 hours per week. Benefits include health coverage and dining discounts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations.
• Lead interviewing, hiring, training and follow up with new team members.
• Continuously cross-train, develop and mentor team members.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and update the team on key business updates.
• Review reservations and communicate notes for special occasions to ensure details are executed.
• Assist with weekly staff schedules in coordination with the General Manager.
• Ensure established standards of food safety, sanitation and quality are maintained.
• Ensure all reports and documentation required by the corporate office are submitted timely.
• Ensure adherence to all local, state and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GEDrequired; Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant / Hospitality Management orsimilar field of study strongly preferred
• 2+ years of full-servicerestaurant management experience preferred, but not required
• Able to work a minimum of 55 hours per week, with the flexibility in hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
• Trustworthy, detail-obsessed andopen to constructive feedback
• Exceptional communication skillsboth written and verbal
