JOB DESCRIPTION

The Human Bean Manager position is ultimately responsible and accountable for all of the stand’s activities and assumes complete responsibility for the stand and its operations as necessary. The Human Bean Manager position works to ensure that all activities are consistent with and supportive of the stand’s business plan.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops and executes the business plan for the coffee stand.
  • Acts as a leader and role model to the team.
  • Directly in charge of growing revenue, transactional growth, upsizing behaviors year-over-year.
  • Ensures all employees are performing their job responsibilities and meeting expectations in all areas of their job description.
  • Maintains a continuous effort to maintain a fun and enjoyable working experience in the restaurant at all times.
  • Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately to provide clear direction.
  • Responsible for ensuring business is open and closed each day.
  • Ensures excellent customer service.
  • Responds positively and quickly to Guest and team member concerns.
  • Hires, trains, and evaluates high quality team members who demonstrate and ensure Guest satisfaction.
  • Develops the team through continuous engagement and coaching.
  • Upholds company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements.
  • Enforces all standards, policies and labor laws (federal, state and local).
  • Builds schedules and utilizes labor effectively to meet budget.
  • Ensures uniforms are ordered, maintained and adhered to within budget.
  • Orders and manages inventory.
  • Ensures menu mix and creation of products exceed standard.
  • Confirms equipment is working and maintained properly.
  • In charge of cash control (i.e. counting out drawers, takes cash deposits to bank).
  • Controls budgets for food costs, labor and supplies.
  • Manages the hours, orders and systems of deliveries.
  • Creates a culture that is addictive to our team members and the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Coffee experience preferred, but not required.
  • Cashier, money handling experience.
  • Exhibit good manners, neat appearance, and proper personal hygiene.
  • Be able to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays).
  • An outgoing personality with good verbal communication, basic knowledge of computers and basic math skills.
