Job summary

Enterprise is seeking a university student for its Management Internship, located in Sterling or Chantilly, VA. You’ll gain hands-on business and leadership experience from day one, tackling real challenges alongside first- and second-year professionals.

The role emphasizes learning to manage a fleet, assist customers, and contribute to marketing strategies while collaborating with a supportive team. Compensation starts at $19 per hour and may include performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be graduating Dec 2027, Spring 2028 or Summer 2028.
• Must have at least 6 months experience in sales, customer service, leadership or management in the last 6 years.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Satisfactory background check including driving (no more than 2 moving violations/at-fault accidents in 3 years) and references.

Responsibilities

• Join Enterprise’s Management Internship program and rotate through core responsibilities.
• Develop skills to manage a fleet of vehicles, serve customers, create marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Complete intern projects and participate in friendly competition with peers; may have eligibility for performance incentives and referral rewards.

From day one as a paid intern with Enterprise, you'll learn what it takes to run a successful business and acquire highly marketable skills in management. Our university/college interns take on the same challenges as our first and second year full-time professionals. It's a team-based environment; and throughout your internship, your peers will be right by your side helping you learn, grow and have fun.

This role is located in Sterling or Chantilly, VA.

The starting compensation for this job is $19 / HR

Responsibilities

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. For a season, we’ll put you in the middle of everything, just like our Management Trainees. We’ll give you the chance to develop the skills you need to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.

During our internship, you’ll use the skills you learn to complete intern projects and engage in some friendly competition with your peers. You may also be eligible for performance incentives and employee referral rewards.
