Job summary

BSI is seeking a Management Systems Auditor to support clients through ISO assessments, helping them achieve compliance and drive improvements. The role blends home-based flexibility in the Greater Manchester area with travel for on-site audits, offering exposure to a wide range of industries and standards.

You will guide clients through the audit process, prepare reports, and present findings while developing expertise across multiple management standards and audit techniques.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of multiple management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Proven multi-sector experience is compulsory, textile or rail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse client groups.
• Adaptable, resilient and supportive approach to clients and teams.
• Willingness to develop further through training in audit techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and guide clients through the assessment process to achieve ISO standards.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients.
• Support clients through the audit lifecycle across various sectors, including on-site and remote settings.
• Coordinate audit activities and liaise with clients to drive continuous improvement.

Position: Management Systems Auditor
Salary: Competitive basic salary based on experience, plus company car, incentive bonus, and a great benefits package
Location: Home-based – Greater Manchester area (travel required)

The Auditor Role

As a BSI Auditor, you will support clients through their assessment process to achieve ISO standards. No two days are the same—you’ll work with a wide range of clients, from small businesses to global brands, across different industry sectors. This role offers opportunities to work both on-site and remotely. You’ll guide clients through the audit process, prepare reports, and present findings, ultimately helping them improve.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and experience in more than one management standard, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Proven m** ultiple sectors experience** is compulsory, textile or rail industry experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable, resilient, and supportive approach.
• Willingness to develop further through comprehensive training and development in audit techniques
