Job summary

DFAS in Cleveland seeks a Program Analyst to support agency-level programs across cost, resources, schedule and performance. You will guide sites on program policies and help refine methods for analysis and problem resolution.

The role requires identifying operational needs, assessing impact on assignments, and developing recommendations for changes. You will also develop tools and SOPs to ensure effective execution of objectives.

Job description

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized experience is defined as: Providing program analysis and business management support to senior management within an organization; applying quantitative and qualitative techniques in order to analyze, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational and project operations; working independently and with a team of individuals on developing and implementing projects that impact multiple offices.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
