Job summary

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest is seeking an Operations Program Analyst to develop metrics, dashboards and data flows for reporting and performance monitoring. Job description

Operations Program Analyst (OPA)

You will serve as an Operations Program Analyst (OPA) in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFACSYSCOM), Operations Office of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.


Duties


  • You will develop operational metrics, financial metrics, visualizations and data flows for reporting and dashboards.

  • You will oversee, track, and support travel/training budget allocation, budget execution, and travel orders.

  • You will conduct data analysis of project and product/service delivery to assess performance to plan and support production management by Operations across the FEC Directorates and Divisions (DIRs/DIVs).

  • You will coordinate input from various stakeholders to draft recurring monthly reports/updates and the annual Command Operations Report.

  • You will create new or use current metrics to monitor and ensures conformance to OPS standard operating procedures.

  • You will ensure FEC Core and PWDs properly collect and input required operations performance data elements in various NAVFAC e-Applications.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:



  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of NAVFAC's organizational structure, business directorates, and full-lifecycle services, including project management, engineering, and environmental planning.

  • Navigating NAVFAC's e-Applications and project management tools.

  • Utilizing data visualization tools, (Tableau/Power BI), is required to create reports, dashboards, and data flows.

  • Analyzing and improving complex management processes and systems.

  • Facilitating meetings, lead discussions, and guide professionals in a collaborative environment without direct authority.
