Washington State Health Care Authority is seeking a Management Analyst 5 to serve as subject-matter expert and lead analyst for the 340B program. This full-time remote role involves consulting legislators and staff, developing data review strategies, and coordinating with PDAB and DPT on long-term planning.
The ideal candidate will translate complex data and emerging legislation into actionable state policy, guide executive leadership, and drive strategic initiatives across departments.
This is a full-time permanent, remote position. Employees may occasionally be asked to attend an in-person meeting or event based on business needs.
This position will serve as the subject matter expert and lead analyst for the 340b program. They will analyze issues and processes related to creating and administering the 340B reporting program, provide regular consultation to legislators and HCA staff, develop strategies on completing and implementing data reviews and validation, and conduct research on best practices being developed by industry, government partners, and other states for similar programs. This position will regularly formulate recommendations for the 340B reports, for the legislature, and coordinate closely with the PDAB and DPT programs on the implementation of strategic and long-term planning activities projected over the next few years.

The Clinical Quality and Care Transformation Division (CQCT) is responsible for designing and implementing clinical policy; conducting oversight and monitoring of all clinically related programs; and communicating with stakeholders, providers, plans, and delivery system partners on clinical activities and issues. This is a full-time 40-hour-per-week REMOTE position. Our standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with alternative work schedules considered based on business needs and supervisor approval. In this role you will regularly collaborate with colleagues, Agency leaders, state and federal partners, and other external partners or customers. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or other business needs. All employees are required to report to our Olympia office on their first and final day of employment.
