Job summary

Textron's Kautex division seeks a Management Accountant to lead cost accounting activities, maintain standard cost systems, and collaborate with senior management in a global automotive supplier context.

The role covers SAP-based cost rollouts, inventory controls, month-end close, forecasts, and cross-functional support with programs, sales, and suppliers, aligned with ISO and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work with senior management.
• Advanced computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard cost system.
• Calculate and maintain standard cost overhead and labor rates.
• Roll standard cost in SAP annually.
• Maintain and update all part numbers, BOMs and routings in SAP.
• Verify customer POs for accuracy incl. piece price, tooling, rework.
• Make changes in cost system via ECN process.
• Maintain SAP Perpetual Inventory.
• Review inventory transactions for accuracy.
• Coordinate physical inventories.
• Prepare month end entries and analyses with reporting to management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales volume forecasts.
• Assist Program & Sales Managers with quotes and CAR submissions.
• Maintain communications with internal departments and external suppliers/customers.
• Investigate and correct errors, risks and opportunities.
• Complete AOP and SBR sales, deductions and COS items.
• Work with CBU sales to monitor pricing issues and accruals.
• Complete KPIs and upload weekly.
• Comply with OSHA and Textron safety standards.
• Comply with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Identify waste minimization and recycling opportunities.

• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly sales volume forecasts
• Assist Program & Sales Managers with customer quotes and CAR submissions
• Maintain professional communications with internal departments and external suppliers and customers
• Investigate and determine cause of errors, risks and opportunities to initiate action plans to avoid negative impacts
• Complete AOP and SBR sales, sales deductions and COS items
• Work closely with CBU sales associates to monitor pricing issues and pricing accruals
• Complete KPI and upload weekly
• Comply with all OSHA standards and Textron health & safety standards
• Comply with all ISO 14001 standards and all IATF 16949 standards
• Identify waste minimization and material recycling opportunities where applicable

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in accounting or related field preferred or related equivalent experience
• Supervisory skills preferred
• Ability to work with senior level management
• Advanced computer and administrative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
