Job summary

Zoetis is offering a Poultry Managed Services Intern role in the Durham, NC area with remote possibilities. You will support the team through SOP updates, inventory control, and data-driven process improvements while gaining exposure to hatchery operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Agricultural Business or related fields, with strong MS Office skills and an interest in poultry.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Agricultural Business, Animal Science, SCM, Logistics, or Operations.
• Proactive interest in poultry industry and willingness to learn.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in project management or logistics is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus; familiarity with maintenance systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Poultry Managed Services Intern

Internship Summary

Gain valuable experience with Zoetis' US Poultry Managed Services team helping them execute best-in-class customer care throughout the hatchery processes for Zoetis. This internship provides exposure to the Poultry business side of animal health and opportunities to develop project management and business management skills in a dynamic agricultural market.

Internship Job Duties

• Assist managed services colleagues with creating and/or amending Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assist with Inventory Management
• Analyze current performance metrics system and provide recommendations for process improvement
• Participate in field rides with managed services colleagues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, tech services, and the Poultry lab colleagues as needed to complete assigned projects.

Internship Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operational Management, or similar field
• Strong interest in poultry industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Project Management or Logistics Management Experience preferred
• SAP Experience a plus
• Understanding of computerized maintenance management system a plus

Hourly Pay (US)

• If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour
• If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour
• If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour
• If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour

Hourly Pay for Selected Locations

• Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour
• Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $24.20 per hour
• Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour
• Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour
