Additional Information About the Role

Are you looking for a career as a Mammography Technologist? Look no further than BJC! This position will be based in our new Edwardsville Imaging Suite opening August 4th, 2025.

Position Details:

• REQUIRED: License or certification in RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

• Shift: Days, 3-12's, 7am-7pm, possibly 8am-8pm
• $5000 Sign-On Bonus Eligibility

Overview

Memorial Hospital Belleville offers medical and surgical services, critical and emergency care, including pediatric emergency care at Children’s Memorial. It provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, heart and vascular care, and is accredited by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care as an Chest Pain Center with PCI. It is also designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital by the Illinois Department of Public Health and has been recognized as a Lung Cancer Screening Center by the American College of Radiology. Since 2008, it has held Magnet recognition for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed hospital with all-private rooms, was recognized with Magnet status in 2018, providing emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, plus critical care.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

1. Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
2. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
