• Certified by the ARRT in Mammography and CPR certified.

*Minimum Qualifications*:

· Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology

· Certified by the ARRT in Mammography

· Must have received/applied for South Carolina state license with SCRQSA.

· Must possess and maintain current CPR certifications.

· Personal computer skills and able to perform required functions in current hospital computer systems and PACS.

*Key Responsibilities*:

· Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammography imaging independently, following hospital policies and under the supervision of an interpreting physician.

· Demonstrate knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, medical terminology, and ensure accurate positioning, exposure techniques, and image evaluation.

· Adhere to radiation safety standards, federal regulations, and quality assurance policies for mammography practice.
