Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality breast imaging across multiple modalities. The ideal candidate demonstrates ARRT Radiography certification, Mammography experience, and strong patient communication while adhering to ALARA and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography experience (GE preferred).
• ARRT Certification in Radiography; Mammography certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow ALARA principles and scan patients with appropriate exposure and minimal repeatability.
• Identify patients, verify prescriptions, and obtain necessary waivers; educate on exam preparation.
• Determine technical factors and position for accurate imaging; ensure high-quality Mammography views.
