Job summary

Wander Staffing is seeking three full-time or six part-time Mammography Technologists to perform diagnostic radiological procedures at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in San Diego, CA. All positions are on-site.

Required: JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT (M) certification, minimum 1 year radiology/mammography experience, and BLS. You will follow safety policies, calibrate equipment, and document procedures per MTF and Navy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certificate from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (M) certification.
• Minimum one year of experience within the past two years as a radiologic technologist or mammography technologist.
• BLS (must meet NMCSD BLS requirements)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures.
• Follow radiation safety policies and Radiology Department procedures.
• Position patients correctly and adjust exams as needed.
• Process digital images and send series to radiologists per MTF protocol.
• Document procedures and maintain records per MTF policy.
• Perform system calibrations and quality control as directed.
• Recognize artifacts and report equipment issues to Government staff.
