Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography imaging procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and high-quality images. The role requires effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Education must include an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours completed; ARRT registry or eligibility, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and required clinical hours completed.
• Experience: no experience required.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: ARRT registry or Registry eligible; BLS within 30 days of hire.

• Perform mammography imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate mammography and imaging equipment safely while ensuring image quality.
