Piedmont Cartersville is seeking a Mammography Technologist for our outpatient Women’s Center. This PRN (as needed) role supports breast imaging services in a dynamic, community hospital setting.

The position involves performing diagnostic and screening mammography, ensuring image quality, and maintaining accurate records. Healthcare professionals with radiography credentials and Mammography ARRT certification are favored.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

Aufgaben

• Performs quality screening, diagnostic and other mammography procedures.
• Reviews all exam requisitions for pertinent information and makes notes on all additional pertinent information.
• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all required exams on patients, positioning the patient and equipment, selecting the protocol, technique and utilizing all required equipment.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
• Ensures accuracy of each exam by following established procedures and labeling images correctly.
• Provide Customer Service/Support to patient population.
• Maintains all required records, reports, and files as required by Federal, State and other regulatory agencies.
