Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Gig Harbor, WA is seeking a Mammography Technologist for per diem/ part-time day shifts. You will perform radiographic procedures specific to breast imaging, produce quality mammograms, and collaborate with the Imaging/Radiology team to deliver compassionate imaging care.

The role requires AMA approved radiologic technology training, ARRT registration, WA DOH certification, and mammography certification or eligibility with certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Washington State Department of Health certification; mammography certification required or eligible; obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic mammographic images per protocol with appropriate adjustments for patient size.
• Serve as patient advocate and communicate procedures with compassion.

In this role, you will perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
