Job summary

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office in Corpus Christi, TX. Location: 7121 S. Padre Island Dr. Ste 205C, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. Schedule: Coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include performing mammography imaging and quality control, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining detailed documentation and timely delivery of results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or completion of Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) required; ARRT Registration (R) required.
• State Radiation Control License where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Complete patient information, paperwork, and billing records.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate when needed.
• Support MQSA and ACR requirements and continuing education.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Per Diem Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Corpus Christi, TX.

Work Schedule: Coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Responsible for applying analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

Additional Job Functions

• All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T. (R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.
• Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.
