Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and related devices per policies.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while ensuring patient care.
• Apply compression, exposure modes, KvP, MAS, grid, AEC settings to optimize images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and take appropriate action if needed.
• Guide patients through the procedure with clear explanations and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property.
• Safeguard medications on site per policies and legal requirements.
• Respect property and patient financial information on-site or portals.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and public in a clinical setting.
