Job summary

Harborview Medical Center, part of UW Medicine, seeks a Mammography Technologist for 100% FTE day shifts in Seattle. You will independently produce high-quality diagnostic mammography images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will operate imaging equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and coordinate with the RIS/PACS workflow. ARRT Mammography certification and WA Radiologic Technologist licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Formal AMA-approved school training in radiologic technology.
• Registered with ARRT and certified in Mammography.
• State of Washington radiologic technologist license.
• Compliance with safety policies and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Operates all mammography equipment following imaging techniques.
• Troubleshoots minor equipment issues and reports malfunctions.
• Schedules, initiates, completes, or cancels exams in RIS and PACS.
• Reviews imaging orders for accuracy and selects appropriate exams.
