Job summary

K.A. Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time, permanent position in Northern Virginia.

You will perform screening and diagnostic mammography with a focus on safety and patient comfort, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Mammography (M) certification, with prior mammography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification required.
• Experience in mammography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Educate patients on mammography procedures and breast health.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
