Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with medical standards. The role involves performing mammography, ensuring image quality, and maintaining safety and confidentiality.

Candidates should have a Washington state radiology credential, BLS, and the ability to educate patients while maintaining comfort. Preference for MQSA/ACR compliance and teamwork in a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification and BLS.
• AART-M registration preferred or willing to train.
• Strong communication and patient-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing mammography procedures, positioning patients, and developing films to ensure optimal image quality.
• Evaluating images for technical accuracy and quality control.
• Providing patient education, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation.
• Maintaining radiation safety standards and adhering to regulatory guidelines (MQSA/ACR).
• Ensuring proper patient identification, accurate data entry into computer systems, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Monitoring equipment and performing quality assurance activities.
• Responding quickly to contrast reactions, assisting with first aid when necessary, and following safety protocols.
• Collaborating effectively with team members, participating in shift rotations, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
