Job summary

Advocate Health in Downers Grove is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography. The role covers screening and diagnostic imaging for physician-referred patients, following MQSA, ARRT and IEMA guidelines.

The position requires 1–2 years of radiologic experience, mammography certification, and strong patient care skills. Expect a 32-hour week with full benefits and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Approved Program in Radiologic Technology.
• 1–2 years experience as Radiologic Technologist or sonographer.
• Graduate of a Mammography certified program.
• Knowledge of breast anatomy and patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms per MQSA, ARRT and IEMA guidelines.
• Labels images accurately and identifies all patient information.
• Applies radiation protection in accordance with standards.
• Documents patient history using forms and database.
• Participates in advanced procedures such as wire localizations and stereotactic biopsy.
• Educates patients and discusses reporting structure with physicians.
