Job summary

AccessHealth in Georgia seeks a Mammography Technologist to support imaging across facilities. You will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, review images for quality, and document results in PACS/RIS.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least 2 years of radiologic technologist and mammography experience in a hospital setting. ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program mandatory.
  • Min 2 years' experience as Radiologic Technologist with Mammography in a hospital setting.
  • ARRT-R, ARRT-M and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality mammography exams ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Review images for quality and accuracy; document in PACS/RIS.
  • Operate mammography equipment safely and follow infection control guidelines.
  • Conduct QC tests of imaging equipment and image quality.
  • Support patient education and clear communication with patients and staff.
